Martuni: city of Gegharkunik province. Located at an altitude of 1950 m above sea level. He received his name in honor of the Armenian revolutionary Alexander Myasnikyan, whose nickname was Martuni. The city is located in the south-west of Lake Sevan, 126 km from Yerevan. In the north, the lake and the city extend forests of pine trees, orchards and fir trees.
